I enjoy cutting a wide and varied range of content for broadcasters and online, and appreciate the many unique opportunities that are offered within post production. Although I am based between Bristol and Bath, I am fortunate to have been able to work in New Zealand, Rome, Islamabad and ... Cardiff. Technically proficient following many years as an assistant editor within large post production facility houses and freelance across numerous drama productions, I settled at the BBC in Bristol working on Natural World, Protecting Our Children and Human Planet amongst others before moving into offline editing. 7 years on and many productions later I continue to approach each job with the same enthusiasm. I love working collaboratively, but am equally adept at going solo. With my own edit suite available for wet or dry hire, I have already edited several productions from my own home and am happy to operate in this way, but equally look forward to working closely amongst the many wonderfully creative people within this unique industry one day soon.
A few cheeky testimonials...
"… From day one I could tell that he was the right editor for the job as he is organised, meticulous, creative and a fantastic story teller. Jonathan’s understanding of pace, and creating the right ‘feel’ for each scene has meant that he can be trusted to work through an edit and deliver an exciting engaging programme every time…"
Adam Boyle, Producer/Director
"Jonathan has worked with my team several times - editing rapid turn-around packages for social media as well as longer form content for DVD & VOD. He's a delight to work with, affable, and worked hard on (what can often be) stressful projects. He quickly grasped our style and was more than capable of working on his own initiative to produce high quality packages. Will happily and gladly work with him again."

"I just watched the Gloucestershire episode of Punk Chef on the Road and wanted to say what a cracking job I think Jonny Doggett did with the edit. I've never met Jonny, but in my opinion his work, particularly editing cookery sequences, puts this episode head and shoulders above some of the others (Same with the Birmingham episode last series). To have an editor who takes the time find the winning shots makes it so much more worthwhile"

"Can I just say- you have blown my socks off with this. Jonny's editing style is beautifully creative and exciting - there are very very little things to criticise. The episode is of award winning standard in my view. Jonny rocks!"
